Very slow-paced and containing an element of longing that stays consistent and true throughout the mix.

You weren't afraid to layer on top of the main instrumental with other experimental styles and tempos and it kept the slow pace from feeling like a slow burn, instead the listener can get really intricate melodies while enjoying the ride. It feels extremely full and stylized to a point of having a lot packed in there but no being oversaturated!

Sick tune, dude T.T

I think it's exceptionally tricky and playful with a heavily melodic tune that carries the song like an Amazon Mack Truck.

All the accompanying instruments take a heavy backseat to the main melody which I think shouldn't be the case. As important as the piano is, it's just met with sedated instruments that should be occasionally allowed to compete or influence or even enhance the lead instrumental. Also, it's a bit short in the sense that the loop doesn't experiment with the main lead-in music cycle so whenever it loops, it's just a dry-cut back to the beginning rather than a nice experimental continuation into a longer, latter half of a possible slightly new song structure to enhance the gimmick rather than just offer a repetitious cycle.

Nicely done though, it's a hell of a groove ^^

HATE bideo gamez???

An extremely electro-funkified jam!!

It has personality caked all over it while it's not afraid to toss in a bunch of random other estranged funk concepts like different basslines, lead guitar, *SAXAPHONE*, and other really fun synths that create a mystified experience of belonging and constant energy. Very clean transitions and mix-ups that serve a well-defined purpose~

You nailed it and kept it phresh along the way ! ^^

Thank you so much, glad you like the song, it's a pleasure to read =]

I love the stark contrast between the tame and toned-down long intro to the bold and confident second-half of the song. It's extremely relieving to see it come out of its shell and in such an explosive manner ^^

Very little to add here, since it *is* a song from 12 years ago, but that combination of chiptune and organic guitar build-up has "wrinkly-brained" written all over it~! It's extremely relaxed with the only competing instrument in the beginning being synths, but the latter half is mostly cohesive organic and electronic keyboard combination and completely compelling from how *BIG* of a moment it feels.

Eye-opening, and dramatic-feeling by how much it unravels its main intent by the end of the song ^^

Interesting without a fault~

The song literally builds an intrigue and fascination *very* gently and calmly. There's serenity that's apparent in the theme of space that you're tying into, but it's not without minor disruption or distortion based on the calming bass and static combination that transforms into slight echoing via clapping and minor noises.

It's extremely gentle and well-paced, I love it ^^

A very sound progression to an action-y sci-fi beat.

There's that brilliant intro that kind of deluges into overlaying lead instruments that include a funky electric guitar riff and different chord progressions. The reintroduction into the really spacey synths gives an air for the listener to breathe and take a moment to absorb the essence of this whacked out adventure while a consistency ties the next parts into the overall song very kindly. I do wish there was a *bit* more lows to emphasize a darker demeanor to the overall theme that could contrast all the high-tones.

Nicely done, yo ~! ^^

Ooo nice description and thanks for feedback.

Very tight thematic beat with some overlaying vocals that persevere the confidence that's absolutely *dripping* in this song.

It's proud, bodacious, and somewhat dark with a heavy bass hit like that, but the minor distortion creates a nice balance on top of the other instrumentation. I do feel like the mix is a bit flat in comparison to the range on the voice. There's this problem with vocals competing with the beat, and the beat is struggling to feel as *full* as the vocals are. Definitely a solid concept to everything going on here, but I want that bass/kickdrum to *REALLY* bump and for the overlaying synths to *REALLY* fill out with their distortion. It's a crazy concept that deserves to drench its listener into the realm of rap and heavy hitting house music.

Nicely done ^^

Ohmterra responds:

Thank you! This was more a test to see if I could make something out of vocals for the first time, and I think it went well. When the full track releases with a remastered ep, the vocals will get switched, but hopefully will keep the same grove as this demonstration. Thanks!

Really upbeat for something that's toned-down. It's not flamboyant as someone would try to predict for a shoot-em-up game soundtrack to be, instead it's *calmly* adventurous.

The vocaloid samples are a high-tier big brain move because with a game soundtrack having it loop with coherent words would become EXTREMELY repetitive, but in this case, the vocals have gone through so much autotune or distortion that it becomes a harmonic instrumentation instead. Very solid concept with correct pacing and switch-ups and subtle piano solos and really reverb-y synths that pull the air of being fantasy-driven very cleanly and stylishly.

A hella nice bop~! ^^

Figburn responds:

woah, thank you! I was really worried how people would respond to the vocaloid use in this since vocals aren’t that common in platformers, I’m very happy you like it!

Altogether a very solid sci-fi beat with an underlying tone of despair and dramatization.

The listener is taken through several step of coalescing sounds that abscond into further droning and peril (which is what you want from a dark, moody beat like this.) It holds your hand as it initially leaves a lot of room for other instrumentation as it's very *open* in the beginning without a solid, precise lead instrumental. I do think the part that introduces the kick drum and snare sample is a bit too off-kilter from the rest of the song's direction.

By the end, it's a very well tied together and supremely adequate dramatically ambient sci-fi track ^^

CorruptModule responds:

Thanks! ill re-look at the track a bit later/ ill see ya next stream!
