Amazing work! A really nice increase in dynamic from your previous Bulbasaur animation~!

I love everything about what you chose to do, even if it was difficult the animation's smooth transitions and creativity pay for itself.

I would honestly love to see you top this with Squirtle! (but no pressure!)

gatekid3 responds:

If i do get around to doing squirtle i doubt i could make it as good as this one, mostly because Squirtle is the least fun of all three to try to animate and make move.

Woah, woah, woah.

Guys! It's f*cking MiddleFingerRings! I remember when you joined SPB and did some work for that Africa Dudes collab!

Glad to see you're still kickin', and I'm diggin' the classic 90's brush strokes with the touches of blue that enhance the retro quality you got going on here. Looking through your art, you've got an ungodly ability to sculpt 3D models, and I hope you only progress futher creatively, so it's nice seeing you switch it up with a painting like this.

I hope to see more from you in the future!
:-)

MiddleFingerRings responds:

Hey man! We had some fun at SPB huh, good times! Thanks for the support :)

It's really well done <3

CowFz responds:

Thanks friend :)

This design is spectacular. I understand that you're not the one that came up with it, but you executed Chompette flawlessly.

This version looks a lot more mischevious and willing to bite a person just for the sheer maniacal fun of it. You definitely did a great job capturing the essence of the Chain Chomp's deadly persona.

I love it~! :3

Camuri responds:

Thanks! That was the impression I was hoping it would leave, so I'm glad to know I pulled that off successfully :D

Gosh darnit Mogy.

You just get better and better. At times you use broader, heavier brush strokes and many different colors to blend a particular mood together. Other times (like this) you choose a simpler color palette to enhance a lighter mood with less varitable stokes and a cleaner overall look for the background.

I've seen some posts of your user icon work on twitter, and even those have uniquely clean linework and precise color schemes.

I'm super impressed~!

mogy64 responds:

thank u very much ;__;
most of the time im not really thinking about my choices and rather do things by what feels right, so its very interesting and eye opening to see the diffeerences of my approaches on different drawings being laid out that way even if i never thought of em that way.... cant thank u enough for writing this out! I appreciate it a ton

I only have one question...

How come you never pop up in my newsfeed even though I'm following you :'(

rtil responds:

sounds like some illuminati shit

What-in-the-holy-hell is this game and where do I buy a deluxe copy?

vezanmatics responds:

Saya No Uta (Song of Saya) is a really, really explicit visual novel you can probably "acquire" rather than buy bc the Steam version is a heavily censored disappointment.

The plot starts from the POV of a guy who was bumped on the head and now can only perceive the world as a horrifying mess of stinking guts and viscera, and a mysterious girl is the only thing in his life that seems somewhat normal to him. Hijinks ensue

Love what you did with your special effects. The air of badass-ness is super neat :3

CowFz responds:

Eyy glad you like the end result of it friend :D

The lighting in this one is top-f*cking-notch

Seriously a good choice :3

cashumeru responds:

thanks!! i love how the lighting came out as well lol

You crass, Johnny Utah.

JohnnyUtah responds:
