GRUB-LORD moving into a 2D aesthetic never made more sense. You keep those elements of your 3D renditions by making the 2D drawing feel *pliable*, and I'm all here for it ^^

I can't believe this is probably the first exceptional moment where I've seen you mix so many different mediums--it was like this day was long coming, and you delivered it excellently !!

There's too much to be impressed by--whether it's the pin-point precise Smiling Friends caricatures or just the additional information and personality packed into the small scribblings and tape all over the place.

Easy to read, easy to understand, and really just fun overall T.T

I think this is a fantastic redesign, and there isn't much to change except for the usual--figuring out he proportions. Everything from the knees down look a bit stubby (or short) and there's a small wonkiness in the right (our left) eye and this could all just be solved from continuing to draw and perfect your craft ^^

Also the shadows could be a darker value so they don't add much emphasis as a shadow ^^;

There's a great quality in your line art and color choices--I just suggest not going over it so strongly with as dark-valued shadows because everything that makes it charming in appeal is being smothered by too much darkness.

The bottom drawing is definitely my favorite--since it's clear and easy to read, whereas the top one is muddled and extremely muddy from too much emphasis on dark values.

What can I say? Five different scenes and concepts that pretty much envelope the core concept of madness into a nutshell (with the nutshell being blown-up pixel art).

Definitely paints the scene, and offers its own little twist on Madness into making it look like an arena mode ^^
